Tulare County has one of the most affordable housing supplies in the state of California. Several new subdivisions are currently under construction in Tulare, and there are also older and historic housing options to choose from. Typical new home prices range from $125,000 to $250,000, and starter homes can be found in the (0,000 to $100,000 range. Rental prices are also reasonable in comparison to most other areas of the state, with well-maintained apartment rentals ranging from $500 - $800.
